Even in this era of Science and Technology, Police relating to commission of crime from any other source and uponinformation about persons, who are acquainted with the fact andcircumstances of the case. These persons may provide importantand vital information relating to circumstances of case and other and detect the criminal. Power to interrogate such persons is power to interrogate is very vital and crucial for Criminal JusticeSystem. If this power is properly exercised, criminal cases may beproperly investigated, evidences relating to case may be collected, of Criminal Justice System that is proper tackling of crime and provides lesson to criminals and potential criminals that crime isundesirable, unproductive and bad thing, therefore, it should not beoralexamination of any person supposed to be acquainted with the factand circumstances:may, by general or special order, prescribe in this behalf, actingsupposed to be acquainted with the fact and circumstances ofthe case.” 1Interrogation is oral examination of person supposed to be acquaintedwith the fact and circumstances of case.
