The Indian Police Journal• Police personnel high on stress resiliency would show goodmental health as compared to those who are stress predisposed.Method• Sample: The sample comprised of 80 Inspectors drawn randomlyfrom the Patiala Range, Punjab. The age range of subjects was 45-54 years and length of service was 10 to 30 years. All the subjects level. Questionnaires were distributed to collect the data. Priorconsent of the Inspectors as well as their supervisors was sought.• Measures: Following measures were used for the present study: ‣ Mental Health was measured by Employees Mental HealthInventory (Jagdish, 1985). It consists of 24 items, each itemhaving two responses “yes” or “no”. The index of reliabilitywas 0.89. Construct validity was found to be 0.74.‣ Stress Resiliency(Thomas & Timon, 1974). It consists of 18 statements basedand (iii) low skill recognition.‣ Meaningfulness in Life was measured by MeaningfulnessIn Life Questionnaire (Steger et al., 2006).
