Mental health ofbehave in ways that are dangerous not only to them, but also to theircolleagues, offenders and public at large. The purpose of the present studyis to access the effect of meaningfulness in life and stress resiliency onmental health of Police personnel. A total number of 80 Inspectors wererandomly selected from Patiala Range, Punjab. There were equal numbersof participants at higher level of meaningfulness in life and lower levelof meaningfulness in life group and stress-resilient and stress-predisposed meaningfulness in life and stress resilience scored high on mental health designing of training programmes for Police personnel.STRESS is a fact of daily life. Every profession has inherent stresslevel whether in its working conditions, social conditions, inenvironment or in burden of duties assigned to the employees.Police are the gatekeepers of the Criminal Justice Systems.
