Chapter66TroubleshootingThis chapter describes error messages and failure symptomsalong with probable steps for resolution. The “ErrorMessages” chart is organized by lamp color when the error is displayed, andthen alphabetically by error message within each color section.NOTE: These procedures should be performed by qualified servicepersonnel.NOTE: Some <strong>RoadRunner</strong>s operate with fewer than four sockets.The troubleshooting help that follows lists error messages for foursockets (four probes) but resolutions apply to <strong>RoadRunner</strong>s asapplicable.Colored Lamp SignificanceThere are three types of messages displayed by the <strong>RoadRunner</strong> at the controlpanel.Status lamps do not change—INFORMATIVE Message; Indicates amachine state. It does not require attention. Example: “Waiting for belt toclear...”Yellow lamp lights—WARNING; Indicates that the system is not running atits optimum, has degraded, or a stop is impending. It does not require immediateattention. Example: “Reject bin needs to be emptied.”Blue lamp lights—CRITICAL or FATAL Message; Stops the <strong>RoadRunner</strong>.The job cannot continue without operator action.
