Press the Up Arrow button to advance the device tape until the next(not previous) pocket center hole lines up (approximately) with themark in the metal.5. Press the Start button. The paused or stopped job will resume.Disabling and Enabling a Socket3If a single socket produces an excessive number of errors during<strong>RoadRunner</strong> operation, it is automatically disabled to increase programmingyield. <strong>RoadRunner</strong> will also disable a socket if a probe drops a device whileattempting to pick it from the socket. If the socket is known to be good, itmay be re-enabled by performing the following:CAUTION: Make sure that the socket is empty by visuallyinspecting it before enabling a socket.1. Press the Pause button on the Keypad if a job is currently running.2. Press the Menu button until the top level menu is displayed.3. Scroll to and select Socket.4. Scroll until the disabled socket is indicated. Press the Select button.5. Press the Up Arrow to Enable the socket. (To Disable it, press the DownArrow button.)Purging the SocketsThe Purge command in the Operator’s Menu picks devices out of the programmingsockets and places them into the Reject Bin. Purge cannot be usedwhile a job is running—the blue lamp must be on. Purge can be used whensockets become disabled and the job has been stopped.Ending (Cancelling) a Job<strong>RoadRunner</strong> will end a job automatically when the number of programmeddevices equals the number that the particular job was set up to run (the PassLimit). The job may have been set to program an infinite number of devices,in which case it will not stop automatically.To stop a job see “Stopping or Pausing a Job” on page 3-19.To cancel a job without finishing it:1.
