4.3.13 Brake Circuit replacement (CFA-257)<br />

[Required tools]<br />

• A Phillips screwdriver for 3 mm screws<br />

• A Phillips screwdriver for 4 mm screws<br />

• Tools for removing the cover from the scanner unit<br />

(see Section 4.3.1, page 4-24)<br />

[Replacement procedure]<br />

1) Remove the cover on the right (starboard) side (see Section 4.3.1, page 4-24).Remove<br />

the metal fixture that is mounted on the motor control power supply board CBD-1779<br />

(see Section 4.3.4, page 4-30).<br />

2) Remove the cable connected to J1503 in the<br />

motor control power supply.<br />

3) Remove the two screws (M3) holding the<br />

resistors to replace the brake circuit (CFA-257:<br />

resistors with cables).<br />

Remove<br />

2 screws.<br />

4) After replacing the brake circuit, assemble the<br />

unit in the reverse order of the disassembly<br />

procedure.<br />

Do not forget to tighten the screws and connect the<br />

cables.<br />

[Check points]<br />

1) Turn on the radar power supply. After the countdown is completed, start emission and<br />

check that the radar image appears without error.<br />
