5) Turn over the radar process unit, remove the
two screws holding the interface unit in place,
and remove the interface unit. (Use the Phillips
screwdriver for 3 mm screws.)

6) Remove the five cables connected to the
terminal board circuit and the two
screws holding the terminal board in
place, and attach them to the new
interface unit.
Remove and
attach to new
input/output unit
7) Install the new interface unit following
the disassembly procedure in the reverse
order.

Remove and
attach to new
input/output unit
1) Check that the system starts up properly.
2) Check that no error message appears.
3) After replacing the unit, check that the radar image is correctly displayed.
4) Check that the connected external sensors (such as the true azimuth, speed, latitude /
longitude, and AIS sensors) are correctly displayed.
