4.4.2 Magnetron replacement (MAF1565N)
[Required tools]
• A Phillips screwdriver for 4 mm screws
• A shielded Phillips screwdriver for 5 mm screws
• Tools for removing the cover from the scanner unit
(see Section 4.4.1, page 4-46)
[Replacement procedure]
1) Open the upper cover (see Section 4.4.1, page 4-46),
loosen the screws (four M4 screws), remove the
transmitter-receiver unit cover, and remove the cables
connected to the transmitter-receiver unit (ten cables).
Slide the cover of the transmitter-receiver unit to remove
it.
Slide the cover.

Loosen the
four screws.
2) Loosen the bolts (five M5 bolts) and
remove the transmitter-receiver unit.
Slide the transmitter-receiver unit upward
to remove it.
Slide the unit.
Tighten the
five bolts.
