5.1 Main program updating procedures
5.1.1 Required items
1) A CompactFlash® 1 card
2) New program file (file name: 5300prg_V##**.bin)
(##** indicates version of the program, Ver. ##.**)
5.1.2 Updating procedures
1) Copy the new program file to the root directory of the
CompactFlash® card.
2) Insert the Compact Flash card
with PC card adapter to card
slot 2 (upper slot) of the radar
process unit (NDC-1417).

3) Power on the radar display
unit.
4) After the program update confirmation screen appears, press the
ENT button of the keyboard (if you do not want to update the
program, press the CLR/INFO button).
5) After the "Please extract a card and reboot”message appears,
shut off the power and remove the CompactFlash® card.
