[Check points]
1) Check that the system starts up properly.
2) Check that no error message appears.
3) After replacing the unit, check that the radar image is correctly displayed.
4) Check that the connected external sensors (such as the true azimuth, speed, latitude /
longitude, and AIS sensors) are correctly displayed.
4.6.10 Radar Process Unit Fan replacement (7BFRD0005)
[Required tools]
Phillips screwdriver for 3 mm screws
[Replacement procedure]
1) Refer to Section 4.6.2, page 4-70 and remove the terminal board.
2) Remove the connectors connected to the input /
output circuit board.
Remove
3) Remove the four screws holding the fan in
place, and replace the fan. (Use the Phillips
screwdriver for 3 mm screws.)
Remove
4) Reassemble the unit following the disassembly
procedure in reverse.
