4.2.15 Brake Circuit replacement (CFA-255)
[Required tools]
• A Phillips screwdriver for 4 mm screws
• A Phillips screwdriver for 3 mm screws
• Tools for removing the cover from the scanner unit
(see Section 4.2.1, page 4-2)
[Replacement procedure]
1) Remove the drive unit (see Section 4.2.4, page 4-8).
Remove the cable connected to J1504 in the motor
driver circuit 7EPRD0034/35.

2) Remove the two screws (M4) holding the brake circuit
on the metal fixture to replace the brake circuit (CFA-
255: resistors with cables).
3) After replacing the brake circuit, assemble the unit in
the reverse order of the disassembly procedure.
Do not forget to tighten the screws and connect the cables.

[Check points]
1) Turn on the radar power supply. After the countdown is
completed, start emission and check that the radar
image appears without error.
Remove 2 screws.
