4.2.15 Brake Circuit replacement (CFA-255)<br />

[Required tools]<br />

• A Phillips screwdriver for 4 mm screws<br />

• A Phillips screwdriver for 3 mm screws<br />

• Tools for removing the cover from the scanner unit<br />

(see Section 4.2.1, page 4-2)<br />

[Replacement procedure]<br />

1) Remove the drive unit (see Section 4.2.4, page 4-8).<br />

Remove the cable connected to J1504 in the motor<br />

driver circuit 7EPRD0034/35.<br />

2) Remove the two screws (M4) holding the brake circuit<br />

on the metal fixture to replace the brake circuit (CFA-<br />

255: resistors with cables).<br />

3) After replacing the brake circuit, assemble the unit in<br />

the reverse order of the disassembly procedure.<br />

Do not forget to tighten the screws and connect the cables.<br />

[Check points]<br />

1) Turn on the radar power supply. After the countdown is<br />

completed, start emission and check that the radar<br />

image appears without error.<br />

Remove 2 screws.<br />
