v ^ V I L G /: CLUBS

v ^ V I L G /: CLUBS Wardlaw Hartridge offers a wide variety of clubs for all members of the upper school student body. From the audio-visual club to the yearbook staff, the clubs offer extra-curricular activities for students. Many students who are not in any sports programs dedicate their time to the clubs to which they belong. Being the editor of the yearbook or the Beacon certainly requires a lot of output upon the part of the student, both in time and knowledge. Clubs also teach students leadership. Many students strive to be a president of a club, but others are satisfied in just belonging to a club, and playing an active part as a member. In a small school like Wardlaw Flartridge, students get a big chance to participate in clubs. Clubs play an important part on a students’ academic record. Colleges are impressed by the fact that a student bothered to do something constructive during his or her spare time. All students are encouraged to participate in the clubs program.
