Achondroplasia an inherited problem <strong>with</strong> the growth of cartilage in the<br />

long bones and skull; characterized by short stature<br />

Acromion the outer part of the scapula; <strong>for</strong>ms the “point of the<br />

shoulder” and connects <strong>with</strong> the collarbone<br />

ADA Americans <strong>with</strong> Disability Act, 1990; legislation intended to<br />
