In 1989, archaeologists excavated a single large

tomb designated as Tomb 21, Mound i, Locality 2

at Niuheliang. Built into the rock of the hill and

covered with rocks and stone slabs, the tomb contained

the body of an adult male, as well as twenty

jade objects. Though not one of the largest or more
