“I still want to take concrete building farther,
particularly in the realm of texture. We planned
for the house’s surface to be uneven and rough
because we discussed the influence of Tadao
Ando’s architecture on the design with the owners.
were other additional impacts in parts we didn’t
even consider, but everything worked together in
tives for architectural construction. They see the
potential of concrete and how it is able to express
its true nature without the need for coating,
skimming, or painting. Apart from that, the team
believes that using concrete in the construction
process produces the least amount of waste
possible and that it will very likely be one of the
primary materials used in architectural construction
in the conceivable future.
