All-day Swimming
Pool ในโรงแรม Livist

โครงการสุดท้ายคือ All-day Swimming Pool ซึ่งตั้งอยู่
บริเวณทิศตะวันตกของ Livist Resort การออกแบบตั้ง
คำาถามกับผู้ใช้สระว่ายน้ำาที่มักต้องการหลบแดดและความ
ร้อนในเวลากลางวัน จึงสร้างชุดของ planters คอนกรีต
หล่อรูปร่างคล้ายปิรามิดกลับหัวที่ด้านบนตั้งอยู่กลางสระ
ว่ายน้ำาวงกลม และทำาหน้าที่เป็นอุปกรณ์กันแดดสร้างร่ม
เงาและความเป็นส่วนตัวให้กับสระว่ายน้ำาได้ตลอดทั้งวัน
การออกแบบไฟส่องสว่างที่ส่งเสริมกันช่วยให้ planters
เหล่านี้กลายเป็นประติมากรรมในเวลากลางคืน
The second proposal presented by POAR is the Allday
Swimming Pool. Situated in the west wing of the
Livist Resort, the design challenges the way pool users
would usually have to stay out of the pool in the afternoon
to avoid direct sunshine and high temperatures.
The design constructed a collection of concrete planters
in the shape of an inverted pyramid, with the apex
emerging in the center of the circular pool. The planters
also serve as a sun protection feature, providing shaded
spaces and a sense of seclusion for the resort’s swimming
pool and guests throughout the day. The lighting
design turn the planters into a statement sculptural
piece at night.

ผลงาน 3 โครงการที่นำาเสนอโดย อมตะ หลูไพบูลย์ แสดง
ถึงแนวทางการออกแบบโครงการสถาปัตยกรรมเอกชนเพื่อ
รองรับสาธารณะของ Department of ARCHITECTURE
โครงการแรกคือ The Commons Thonglor ที่ตระหนักถึง
ความขาดแคลนพื้นที่สีเขียวและต้องการสร้าง urban oasis
ที่ต้อนรับผู้คนที่มีไลฟ์สไตล์ที่หลากหลาย Department
of ARCHITECTURE วิเคราะห์การออกแบบ Retail ที่มัก
ประสบปัญหาการดึงดูดผู้ใช้โครงการขึ้นไปที่ชั้นบน จึง
ออกแบบ ‘the common ground’ พื้นที่ส่วนกลางในลักษณะ
open air ที่เปิดการไหลเชื่อมต่อของพื้นที่ใช้สอยต่างระดับ
จากระดับถนนไปยังชั้นที่ต่างๆ พื้นที่นี้ยังเชื่อมต่อกิจกรรม
และดึงอากาศธรรมชาติพัดเข้าสู่โครงการทุกระดับ พัดลม
อุตสาหกรรม 2 ชุดถูกติดตั้งเพื่อดูดอากาศร้อนที่ลอยขึ้น
ด้านบนอาคารและเพื่อสร้างความสบายให้กับผู้ใช้อาคาร
ความสำาเร็จของโครงการนี้ส่งต่อแนวคิดการใช้พื้นที่ต่างระดับ
เพื่อรองรับกิจกรรมและอีเวนท์รูปแบบต่างๆ
ในโครงการต่อเนื่องคือ The Commons Saladaeng ซึ่ง
ตอกย้ำาความสำาคัญของความร่วมมือระหว่างสถาปนิกกับ
ผู้พัฒนาโครงการ ในการสร้างสถาปัตยกรรมและรูปแบบ
การจัดการและการใช้สอยของโครงการให้สอดคล้องและ
ส่งเสริมกัน ส่วนโครงการ Taste 18 Lifestyle complex
ซึ่งเป็นส่วนหนึ่งของโครงการ J-18 ในเมือง Zhengzhou
ประเทศจีน การออกแบบสถาปัตยกรรมสร้างเส้นทางเดิน
ขึ้นลงที่ไม่รู้จบคล้ายอัฒจันทร์ที่นำามาเรียงต่อกันสำาหรับ
รองรับกิจกรรม street performance โครงสร้างทางสถา-
ปัตยกรรมจึงเป็นเสมือนงานประติมากรรมในภูมิทัศน์ที่ไป
ทำางานด้วยกัน
Department of ARCHITECTURE
The three projects that Amata Luphaiboon chose
for Department of ARCHITECTURE’s presentation
reflects the studio’s architectural trajectory, which
emphasizes the significance of privately owned
architectural projects designed for public use. Amata
began with The Commons Thonglor, a project conceived
in response to the city’s lack of green space
and urban oasis, with a program meant to accommodate
users of different lifestyles and tastes. By
developing the open-air common ground, which
promotes the spatial flow between functional areas
at varied levels from the street level or ground floor
to the upper floors, Department of ARCHITECTURE
addressed the difficulties of retail design and how
the upper floors of a project of this nature having less
traffic. In addition to connecting variety of user activities,
the common ground provides natural ventilation
to each floor of the project. Two sets of industrial fans
are placed to exhaust hot air upwards and provide
thermal comfort for the building’s users. The success
of the project has led to further developments of a
functional program where multiple floors are designed
to accommodate diverse activities and events.
Following the success of The Commons Thonglor,
The Commons Saladaeng was developed. The project
showcases a collaborative work process between the
architecture team and the project’s developer in the
creation of a space in which the architectural structure,
functions, and spatial management correspond
and complement one another. The final project featured
in the presentation, Taste 18 Lifestyle Complex, is part
of the J-18 development in Zhengzhou, China. The
architectural framework produces an endless sequence
of ascending and descending walkways that resemble
a series of connected amphitheaters designed to
host street performances, while coexisting with and
complementing the surrounding landscape.
