statements: process-oriented commands and geometry-oriented definitions. The process oriented commands
consist of motion and machine parameter statements, as well as other statements unique to the
inspection process itself. DMIS vocabulary consists of ASCII characters which are combined to form
words, labels, parameters, and variables. Table 4.2 shows a typical CNC code for measuring a turbine
blade in DMIS format.
4.5 Error Evaluation
In this section, the measurement results are fed back to the computer and error analysis is performed
for the features inspected. The error evaluation algorithms are explained for the sculptured surfaces and
the basic features.
