Efacec is also taking part in the Programa de Voluntariado Transversal
(cross-functional volunteer programme), an initiative of the José de
Mello Group that began in 2010 and whose main development took
place in 2011.
Other Charity Initiatives
In 2010, Efacec continued to take part in the Ser Solidário
programme, an initiative of the José de Mello Group that provides
a signifi cant shared donation (from Efacec and its employees)
to a charity institution voted by Employees. Over one hundred
Employees took part in the Programme.
At the beginning of the year, as a result of the catastrophe in Haiti,
a group of Efacec employees donated nearly EUR 3000 to AMI.
In the scope of the programme Criar Sorrisos (Create Smiles), Efacec
employees were again very charitable by donating a large quantity
of used items to two charity institutions.
The company also donated a large quantity of computers, used
furniture and work clothes to four charity institutions and
cooperated with the Instituto Português do Sangue (Portuguese
Blood Institute) for the usual blood donations.
Job Offers
II Job Fair - Alegro Alfragide Shopping Mall
In these last years, Efacec has signifi cantly increased its number
of employees, highly contributing towards the creation of qualifi ed
jobs.
As such, it is worth mentioning the company’s participation in job
fairs, such as the II Job Fair, which took place at the Alegro Alfragide
Shopping Mall.
Efacec was also present in the 10th edition of the Fórum 3E -
Emprego, Empresas, Empreendedorismo (jobs, companies and
entrepreneurship forum) that occurred in May, at the Aveiro
University.
This way, the company got to introduce its programmes, procedures,
recruitment methods and existing job opportunities.
