The increasing internationalization of Efacec’s operations has
been one of the Group’s main priorities, resulting in a signifi cant
increase of the number of international employees (both locals and
expatriates) in the past years, with a volume that in 2010 was kept
somewhat similar to 2009.
In 2010, the overall training volume reduced slightly due to the
conjuncture and operational need felt due to the major mobility of
employees to projects.
However, besides the training provided in the scope of the duties
carried out by employees, Efacec also supported several personal
development plans (PADI programme), with a total of 2384 hours.
Due to the needs that resulted from the undergoing
internationalization process, language courses were the top
training priority (28%), followed by technologies (22%) and quality,
environment and safety courses (19%).
Training sessions coordinated by Efacec’s Training services were
properly assessed, having obtained an overall satisfaction level
above 90%.
