Contents of a Sonic Installer Response File
A Sonic installer response file is a series name=value parameter statements. For a silent
install, you must have all the parameters that are used by the installation you intend to
perform. The types of installations performed by the Sonic Installer are Workbench, MQ
Development, deployment Domain, and Administrative Tools. While there are common
parameters, there are distinguishing patterns, described later in this chapter.
A response file is a series name=value parameter statements, as shown in the following
example where a Domain Manager was installed on a Windows system with licenses for
SonicMQ, and Sonic ESB:
