Chapter 2: Using Progress Sonic Installer Installing a Progress Sonic Workbench When you choose Sonic Development on the “Sonic Installer’s Choose Installation Type panel” on page 74, the next panel is the Progress Sonic License Keys panel. A Sonic Workbench license key for evaluation or development will focus the installation on Sonic Workbench. A Sonic Workbench key is a composite code. The key you enter will generate corresponding evaluation or development keys for the Sonic products on the Workbench: ■ SonicMQ ■ Sonic ESB ■ Sonic BPEL Server 1. The upgrade utility will configure the domain in its migration process. The management broker in the underlying messaging infrastructure specifies a port on which it will accept management connections. As many preset samples and examples use the preset port value 2506, try to make that port available to Sonic rather than changing the port value.
