Authors’ Biographies<br />
Dr Sander van Nederveen is Assistant Professor of Design and Building<br />
Informatics at Delft University of Technology, Department of Building<br />
Technology. He teaches and conducts research in the area of design and<br />
information technology for building and civil engineering. Before joining<br />
Delft University in 2005, he has worked as a researcher at TNO in the field of<br />
information technology for construction and as a systems<br />
engineer/configuration manager at the Dutch High Speed Link (HSL) project<br />
organisation.<br />
Dr Reza Beheshti is Associate Professor of Design and Building Informatics<br />
at Delft University of Technology, Department of Building Technology. He<br />
obtained his PhD from RCA in London in Design Research in 1981. Prior to<br />
this PhD research period, he worked for a large Architecture and Engineering<br />
Consultancy as the Chief Architect. His specialisations are in Advanced<br />
Design Systems, Building Informatics, Parametric Design, <strong>Construction</strong> IT,<br />
Process Innovation, eLearning and Design Methodology. He has authored<br />
numerous papers and books in these fields and has participated in a number of<br />
national and European research projects.
