Authors’ Biographies
Dr. Wim Gielingh is management consultant with a specialization in
business innovation. He worked for clients in various industries,
including construction and real estate, shipbuilding, electronics,
mechanical, automotive as well as plant construction and lifecycle
support (for the oil and gas, chemical and food industries). Before 1995
he worked as senior researcher and manager of various European
research and development projects.
Dr. Sander van Nederveen is Assistant Professor of Design and
Building Informatics at Delft University of Technology, Department of
Building Technology. He teaches and conducts research in the area of
design and information technology for building and civil engineering.
Until 2005 he worked as a researcher at TNO in the field of information
technology for construction, and as a systems engineer/configuration
manager at the Dutch High Speed Link (HSL) project organisation.
