is focused is thermo-forming, a process that can be used to model the material into
any shape. A good example is the IT-IS pier unit: the soft curve that breaks the
continuity between the worktop and the dining table was only possible thanks to this

Laminam’s engineered slabs respond perfectly to market demands, because
the material is compact and hard-wearing, resistant to both chemical attack and
organic and inorganic solvents and detergents. It is also easy to wash and keep
hygienic.Thanks to the size of the slabs it is possible to satisfy design requests
and because of its reduced thickness the “system top” becomes fully functional
as well as offering a high standard of technical performance features at all times.

La ricerca tecnologica è in continua evoluzione e deve far fronte a tutte le richieste
che provengono dal mercato. Proprio per questo motivo, lo studio sul materiale
e la scelta della materia prima vengono effettuate con la massima attenzione

fino a spessori importanti utilizzando tecnologia Eulithe. Il giusto connubio
tra le materie prime porta ad un materiale altamente igienico, quindi pulibile
con tutti i prodotti di pulizia che si trovano in commercio.
Technological research is evolving all the time and needs to take account
of all the demands made by the market. Precisely for this reason studies
into materials and the choice of raw material are carried out with the utmost
attention to mechanical and physical qualities, to ensure that they satisfy
a range of different requirements. In this way end products can be created
in many different sizes, from the thin (1.2 cm) to the ultra-thick using Eulithe
technology. The right combination of raw materials is important also to achieve
an ultra-hygienic material, one that can be cleaned with all standard commercially

We engineer slabs using the very purest quartz, selected glass and ultra-clear resins,
in order to give the material a deep, brilliant sheen and chemical and physical
properties that make it suitable for use as a worktop, or as a wall or floor covering.
The vibro-compression vacuum process, a technology involving the use
of high-temperature catalysis, in combination with the raw materials used, results
in a highly compact, non-porous product that is durable, scratchproof and very
resistant to attack from the acids and other chemicals typically used in the domestic
environment. Then there is the environmental impact to think about: the product
is made using 60% recycled glass, which helps the product earn LEED certification
on eco-friendliness and the social and economic correctness of buildings.
