spiegano il loro progetto, Playground,
che si incentra su diversi motivi
decorativi a tema che trasformano
le superfici in laminato in arte
grafica, e i moduli della cucina,
rinnovati nelle dimensioni, in volumi
di colore. D’impatto la versione
con mobili alti e schienali
con geometrie bianco-blu;
l’isola è in laminato bianco, i pensili
e le basi sono in laccato color blu
intenso come il top, in laminato.
Playground è disponibile in oltre
70 finiture, tra melaminici e laminati,
polimerici e laccati opachi e lucidi.

“We concentrated on the ‘skin’ of the
kitchen and chose laminate, which is
relatively inexpensive yet offers a high
degree of quality and durability. We
worked on this ‘skin’ by taking the same
approach as young people do when they
get a tattoo: to make a statement about
themselves and be recognisable
by a special symbol”. This is how
Ludovica+Roberto Palomba explain
Playground, their new design centred
around variously themed decorative
motifs that turn the laminated surface
into graphic art, and the kitchen modules,
in new sizes, in blocks of colour.
Particularly visually striking is the version
with high furniture units and backs with
a geometric blue and white pattern; the
island unit is white laminate, the wall and
base units have a deep blue lacquerwork
finish, the same colour as the laminate
top. Playground comes in over 70
different finishes: melamine, laminate,
polymer and gloss or matt lacquerwork.
