Die Fakultät für Biologie an der Albert-Ludwigs-Universität und BIOSS,
das Zentrum für Biologische Signalstudien, ein durch die Exzellenzinitiative
der Bundes- und Landesregierung gefördertes Forschungscluster
hat zum nächstmöglichen Zeitpunkt eine
W1-Juniorprofessur für
Biologische Signalforschung
(BesGr. W1) mit Tenure Track zu besetzen.
Der / die künftige Stelleninhaber/in soll auf dem Gebiet der Biologischen
Signalforschung international ausgewiesen sein. Der Forschungsschwerpunkt
soll in einem der folgenden Fachgebiete liegen: Krebsforschung,
Zell- und Entwicklungsbiologie, Immunologie, Neurobiologie,
Pflanzenforschung, Proteinengineering, Epigenetik, Systembiologie. Kooperationen
mit den in Freiburg etablierten Forschungszentren sind vorteilhaft.

Entwicklungsbiologie, Angewandte Biowissenschaften, Immunbiologie
und/oder Zellbiologie wird erwartet.
Einstellungsvoraussetzungen sind ein abgeschlossenes Hochschulstudium,
pädagogische Eignung und eine herausragende Promotion. Sofern
vor oder nach der Promotion eine Beschäftigung als Akademische/r
Mitarbeiter/in erfolgt ist, sollen Promotion und Beschäftigungsphase zusammen
nicht mehr als sechs Jahre betragen haben. Die Stelle wird zunächst
auf vier Jahre befristet, eine Verlängerung nach positiver Evaluierung
für weitere zwei Jahre ist möglich. Nach erfolgreicher Evaluation
besteht die Möglichkeit eines Tenure Tracks nach W3 (Überleitungsoption
mit angemessen vereinfachtem Berufungsverfahren).

To strengthen its profile within the group of Economics and Regulation,
HHL seeks to appoint a professor in
Law of Economic Regulation
(part time with a 50% teaching commitment)
at the earliest date possible.
The successful applicant will be required to cover the area named above
in research, teaching and transfer. Therefore excellent degrees, a doctoral
degree in the area of law, the German Habilitation or an equivalent
academic qualification, a high level of teaching competence as well as a
publication and teaching record that aligns with the impact of the law of
economic regulation on all areas of public law, in particular public commercial
law, environmental law, European and international law and the
effect of law on innovation are expected.
Teaching responsibilities will be within our Master Programs in Management
(M.Sc.), our Master Programs in General Management (MBA), our
new Global Executive Master Program in General Management (MBA)
as well as in our Executive Education programs, and requires profound
teaching capabilities in the English language and experience in working
with seasoned managers. In the function as Academic Director of HHL’s
new Center for Health Care and Regulation, the successful candidate is
expected to work across disciplinary boundaries and to collaborate in
terms of teaching and research with colleagues at HHL.
