Sequester<strong>in</strong>g of Witness The exclusion of witnesses from the courtroom<br />

True bill The endorsement on a bill of <strong>in</strong>dictment by a grand jury when<br />

Waiver The <strong>in</strong>tentional or voluntary rel<strong>in</strong>quishment of a known right.<br />

Warrant A writ from a competent authority <strong>in</strong> pursuance of law, <strong>in</strong>struct<strong>in</strong>g<br />

an officer to do an act and afford<strong>in</strong>g him protection from damages if he<br />

does it.<br />
