Curriculum Guides<br />

Curriculum Guides are suggested courses of study which may include more or less<br />

than the RSCC degree requirements. They are not intended to represent requirements<br />

for any particular college or university. Students should consult articulation agreements,<br />

the catalog of the school to which they intend to transfer, and their advisor for<br />

specific degree requirements. Actual RSCC degree requirements appear on page 93.<br />

Pre-Engineering Degree: Associate of Science<br />

The basic pre-engineering curriculum is designed for students who want to earn<br />

bachelor’s degrees in any engineering field at a four-year institution. Upon successful<br />

completion of the basic program, students can transfer to any college with an engineering<br />

program. These programs include: aerospace, biomedical, chemical, civil, electrical,<br />

engineering mechanics, engineering physics, engineering science, fire<br />

protection, industrial, mechanical, nuclear, environmental.<br />

All Math/Science courses listed in bold, italicized print have prerequisites.<br />

Please check the Course Description section of the catalog.<br />
