Introduction to basic computer-aided design and drafting (CADD). Subject areas include an<br />

exploration of multiview projections and CAD programs, creating, editing and displaying two<br />

dimensional information. Upon completion of the course the student will be able to draw, dimension<br />

and display principle views of objects using orthographic microcomputer techniques.<br />

A survey of the most popular and available CAD programs used in today’s work environment.<br />

The student will be introduced to various CAD programs to offer insight for selection and use<br />

This course is designed to explore advanced applications in a CAD application. Tasks include<br />
