compounds. TogetherwithDirkMorrfromUICatChicagoweareworkingontheunderstandingof<br />
theevolutionofthed-wavesuperconductivityinthepresenceofthemagneticandchargeorder. AnotherprojectincollaborationwiththeexperimentalgroupsofProf.BüchnerandD.ArgyrioufromIFWDresdenandHMIinBerlinappliestothestudyofunconventionalsuperconductorswithvariousspectroscopictechniquessuchasnuclearmagneticresonanceorinelasticneutronscattering.TogetherwithP.<br />
Thalmeier(MPI-CPfS)weareworkingontheunderstandingofphysicsofheavy-fermioncompoundsand<br />
superconductorswithrattlingphonons.<br />

Itiswell-knownthatthereisabsenceofdiffusioninarraysofcoupledrandomlinearoscillatorsatstrong<br />
enoughdisorder(Andersonlocalization). Inthatsituation,theeigenspectrumofthelineardynamical<br />
equationsispurelydiscreteandassociatedwithacompletebaseofeigenstates(Andersonmodes)which<br />
areexponentiallylocalized. Thenanywavepacketwhichisinitiallylocalized,isalmostperiodicintime<br />
sinceitdecomposesasanabsolutelyconvergentsumofthosetimeperiodiceigenmodesandconsequently<br />
itremainslocalizedforeverwithoutspreading.<br />
