HALL MARKS ON PLATE.<br />

The assay mark of this office was altered as follows, by the<br />

before-menti<strong>on</strong>ed Order of 1906, and is now for foreign <strong>plate</strong> for<br />

<strong>gold</strong>:<br />

And for <strong>silver</strong> :<br />

Mr. S. W. Le Bass, the late Assay Master of the Goldsmiths'<br />

Company, kindly gave us valuable informati<strong>on</strong> for previous editi<strong>on</strong>s<br />

of this work, and Mr. A. Le Bas, the present Assay Master of the<br />

Company, has most courteously given us copies of the present <str<strong>on</strong>g>marks</str<strong>on</strong>g><br />

used at Dublin.
