Waterbar<br />

Waterbars shall discharge to a stable area.<br />

Waterbars shall be inspected weekly (daily on active roads) <strong>and</strong> after each runoff event.<br />

Damaged or eroded waterbars shall be restored to original dimensions within 24 hours of<br />

inspection.<br />

Maintenance of waterbars shall be provided until roadway, skidtrail, or right-of-way has<br />

achieved permanent stabilization.<br />

Waterbars on retired roadways, skidtrails, <strong>and</strong> right-of-ways shall be left in place after<br />

permanent stabilization has been achieved.<br />
