longer the continuity of generations of the Tomasetti family Uving on and working the<br />

same land.*^ After his burial in the Eganstovm Cemetery, Catherine moved into a<br />

house (named Hillview) belonging to her son Emest, which was situated directly<br />

opposite her old home. For the sum of merely eight pounds, she sold the block on<br />

which her house had stood to her neighbour Margherita Lafranchi, to whose family this<br />

history wdU now tum.<br />
