TOURBILLONS PATEK PHILIPPE 10 DAY TOURBILLON – REF. 5101R The new Ref. 5150R runs accurately for 240 hours when fully wound, as indicated by the power reserve indicator at 12:00. In this extraordinary 28-20/222 manufacture movement, Patek Philippe has implemented yet another rare mechanism: a tourbillon escapement. The device consists of 72 individual parts that together weigh a scant 0.3g. All steel parts of the filigreed cage are meticulously finished by hand. Despite its considerable length of more than 5cm, the anatomically curved 18K rose-gold case gently hugs the wrist. PIAGET ALTIPLANO TOURBILLON GOUSSET IN WHITE GOLD — REF. G0A32063 Piaget now revives the tourbillon pocket watch, interpreted in a highly contemporary square form characteristic of the brand, that of the Altiplano collection. The 40mm white-gold case houses the Piaget mechanical hand-wound Calibre 600P, the world’s thinnest tourbillon movement at just 3.5mm thick. Admirably reflecting the mastery inherent to the manufacture, the carriage of this tourbillon—visible through a dial opening at 9:00—is made of 42 parts and weighs a mere 0.2g. Like all vintage Piaget models, the caseback is engraved with the brand’s coat of arms.
