LUMInOR 1950 SUBMERSIBLE DEPTH GAUGE FOR THE PAnGAEA EXPEDITIOn
REF. PAM00307
Recognized for creating the first professional divers’ watches in history and supplying them—along with wrist depth gauges—
to the Royal Italian Navy in the first half of the 20th century, Officine Panerai reaffirmed its tradition in the field of professional
precision instruments with the combination of these two indispensable measuring devices in a single instrument: the Luminor
1950 Submersible Depth Gauge. Unlike historic wrist depth gauges, which were functional to 30m, this innovative device can
measure depths to 120m and record the greatest depth encountered in the course of a dive. This is achieved by an independent,
sophisticated electronic device fitted within the 47mm titanium case. In a numbered limited edition, the caseback is engraved in
celebration of famous explorer Mike Horn’s Pangaea Expedition.
