LUMINOR 1950 EQUATION OF TIME TOURBILLON TITANIO, 50MM – REF. PAM00365
Continuously introducing innovations that surpass all expectations—especially for a relatively new movement manufacturer—
Officine Panerai’s approach to the most complicated of all grand complications, the equation of time, has set a new industry
standard. The Luminor 1950 Equation of Time Tourbillon Titanio, also called L’Astronomo, is the ultimate tribute to the genius
of Galileo Galilei and showcases some of the rarest, most exclusive and fascinating specialties in watch-making. Completely
customized for the owner, L’Astronomo showcases a tourbillon with equation of time functionality, sunrise/sunset times for the
city chosen by the wearer, and depiction of the star map of the night sky for that locality on the back plate. All of these functions
are powered by the hand-wound, 375-component Panerai P.2005/G caliber, which also features a 4-day power reserve and Panerai
tourbillon regulator, and housed inside a 50mm titanium case that is water resistant to 10 bar (100m), thanks to its patented
crown-protecting device. Produced in just 30 examples, it is the most technically sophisticated timepiece ever produced by
Officine Panerai.
