The values of energy and exergy consumptions for 2002 according to energy carriers are<br />

illustrated in Table 57 [27]. As can be seen in this table, total energy and exergy inputs to the<br />

Turkish sector were 3257.29 and 3212.42 PJ in 2002, respectively. Of the total energy input,<br />

31.30% was produced in 2002, while the rest will be met by imports. In 2002, of the 11<br />

energy sources, petroleum had the largest share with 39.92%, followed by natural gas with<br />
