The Instruction category was one of two in which the principals total score exceeded<br />

15.00. The assumption, Different Styles, had the highest mean score of all 36 assumptions in<br />

the survey (see Table 10).<br />

The Materials category had next to the lowest total scores for the principals; however,<br />

the total of 13.92 was above the 13.00 which indicated a high degree of agreement with the<br />

Principles of Nongradedness. The Stimulating Environment assumption had next to the<br />

lowest mean of the 36 assumptions on the survey (see Table 11).<br />
