Wright Capital Project Fund<br />

The Wright Projects Program provides grants to support specifically defined near term<br />

commercialization projects requiring major capital acquisitions and improvements at<br />

Ohio higher education institutions and non-profit research organizations. Projects must<br />

involve one or more Ohio companies and be in the areas of advanced materials, power<br />

and propulsion, information technology and instruments, controls and electronics<br />

The Wright Projects Program<br />

The 2006 Wright Projects Program provides grants to support specifically defined near<br />

term commercialization projects requiring major capital acquisitions and improvements<br />

at Ohio higher education institutions and non-profit research organizations. Projects<br />

must involve one or more Ohio companies and be in the areas of advanced materials,<br />

power and propulsion, information technology and instruments, controls and electronics.<br />

Innovation Ohio Loan Fund (IOF)<br />

The Innovation Ohio Loan Fund (IOF) was created to assist existing Ohio companies<br />

develop next generation products and services within certain Targeted Industry Sectors<br />

(advanced materials, power and propulsion, information technology and instruments,<br />

controls and electronics) by financing the acquisition, construction, and related costs of<br />

technology, facilities, and equipment. The IOF is intended to supply capital to Ohio<br />

companies having difficulty securing funds from conventional sources due to technical<br />

and commercial risk factors associated with the development of the new product or<br />

service. The IOF can finance up to 75% of a project’s allowable costs to a maximum of<br />

$5 million and a minimum of $250,000.<br />
