www.dsd.state.md.us/comar/01/01.01.2001.02.htm
A 2001 Executive Order set a goal of procuring at least 6% of the state’s electric energy
from “green” sources and reducing energy use in state buildings by 15% by 2010.
Eligible “green” technologies include the use of fuel cell energy. The Executive Order
also makes it easier for the State to purchase alternative-fuel and low-emission vehicles
for its fleet.
