impurity in earth, there is no impurity in water; There is no impurity<br />

contained in air;<br />

There are no virtues, Nanak, in the man who is without a guru;<br />

It is he impure who turneth away from God whose mouth is<br />

9. Revolutionary<br />

If thou art Zealous of playing (the game) of Love,<br />

Then enter upon my Path with thy head on thy palm.<br />

Yea, once thou settest thy foot on this Way,<br />

Then find not a way out, and lay down thy head.<br />

God is the Protector and Destroyer of the world,<br />

Com­passionate to the puor, Punisher of enemies, ever the Cherisher,<br />
