W i R T s c H A F T Eloxieren von Aluminiumprofilen bei Sapa werte für Pkw durch die Europäische Union ab dem Jahr 2012 – begünstigt den Einsatz komplexer, innovativer Leichtbaukonstruktionen aus Aluminium. „In diesem Zukunftsmarkt möchten wir mit dem neuen Sales Team Automotive unseren Kunden einen kompetenten und ökonomischen Zugang zur Welt der Aluminium Strangpressprodukte ermöglichen“, sagte Kanowski. Auf den wachsenden Markt für Solartechnik hat Sapa Profiles ebenfalls mit einem neuen Verkaufsteam reagiert. In der Solartechnik werden in Deutschland nach Angaben des GDA zurzeit rund fünf Prozent des jährlichen Verbrauchs von AluminiumStrangpressprodukten, das sind etwa 37.500 Tonnen, eingesetzt – mit hohen Steigerungsraten. Der leichte Werkstoff dient als Basis für zahlreiche Anwendungen: Fassadenkonstruktionen, leichte und haltbare Im Juni 2007 hatte Sapa die Strangpressaktivitäten in das von ihr geführte Joint Venture mit der amerikanischen Alcoa Soft Alloy Extrusions eingebracht. Mit dem Zusammenschluss entstand der weltweit größte Strangpresskonzern und Marktführer für Strangpressprofile aus Aluminium. Sapa Profiles betreibt zurzeit 111 Pressen in 15 Ländern in Europa, China und den USA, hinzu kommen Vertriebsniederlassungen in weiteren Ländern. Anodising aluminium profiles at Sapa Unterkonstruktionen für die Befestigung von Solarmodulen, ganze Dachanlagen sowie komplette Systemkomponenten sind nur einige Beispiele für das Angebot von Sapa Profiles. „Auch in diesem Markt sehen wir überproportionale Wachstumsmöglichkeiten, da wir durch individuelle Lösungen Mehrwert für unsere Kunden schaffen“, betonte Kanowski. Bei der Anarbeitung verfügt Sapa Profiles über ein komplettes Fertig u n g s s p e k t r u m in den Bereichen Umformung, mechanische Bearbeitung sowie Verbindungstechnik. Das dritte neue Verkaufsteam für Komponenten besteht seit einem Jahr und soll Konstrukteure und Designer über die vielfältige Möglichkeiten in der Gestaltung von Bauteilen, Komponenten und Systemen aus Aluminiumprofilen beraten. Sapa fungiere immer öfter als integrierter Teil der Produktionskette seiner Kunden und biete mit einem umfangreichen Dienstleistungskonzept innovative Lösungsansätze in der Profiltechnik und entwicklung, sagte Kanowski. Die Vertriebsaktivitäten für den deutschen Markt werden über die Vertriebszentrale der Sapa GmbH in Düsseldorf gesteuert. Wie in keinem anderen regionalen Markt setzt Sapa in Deutschland auf das „europäische Modell“ und bietet dem deutschen Markt das komplette Leistungsspektrum aller europäischen Produktionsstätten der Gruppe aus einer Hand. Dazu gehört das gesamte Entwicklungs, Werkstoff und BearbeitungsKnowhow. Die Spezialisierungen der einzelnen Standorte und logistischen Vorteile werden für jeden Kunden individuell geprüft und genutzt. Außer der Qualifikation des Werkes spielt auch die geografische Lage eine Rolle. Die Verteilung der Produktion über ganz Europa erlaubt es Sapa, eine Philosophie der kurzen Wege zu verfolgen. Mittlerweile haben die Transportkosten wegen der Entwicklung der Energiepreise und der Mautgebühren einen nicht zu unterschätzenden Einfluss auf die Preissituation. Expansion nach osteuropa Hohe Erwartungen verknüpft Sapa mit der weiteren Expansion nach Osteuropa. Dort wurde man erstmals 1992 aktiv, als sich die Gruppe in Polen mit einem neu errichteten Presswerk etablierte. Damals war Sapa der erste westeuropäische Profilhersteller auf dem polnischen Markt, der im Segment Strangpressprofile seitdem um durchschnittlich zehn Prozent jährlich gewachsen ist. 2006 übernahm Sapa den slowakischen Profilhersteller Alufinal (heute Sapa Profily). Das Unternehmen erwirtschaftet mit etwa 300 Mitarbeitern circa 35 Mio. Euro jährlich. Die Jahresproduktion soll von 13.000 auf 20.000 Tonnen gesteigert werden. Mit Sapa Profily verfügt die Gruppe über einen weiteren Zugang zu den schnell wachsenden osteuropäischen Märkten. Die Nähe zu den Märkten Mitteleuropas, ein günstiges Kostenniveau und ein hoher technischer Standard sind weitere Vorteile. Im Zuge des Joint Ventures sind die Kapazitäten der Werke in Ungarn und Rumänien dazu gekommen. Nächster Zielmarkt für Sapa ist Russland. „Die wirtschaftliche Entwicklung nimmt zusehends Fahrt auf und könnte eine enorme Schlagkraft gewinnen“, sagte Rengstedt. Die Risiken, mit denen Investitionen in Russland verbunden sind, hält man bei Sapa für überschaubar. Sie würden in dem Maße geringer, in dem sich die Märkte weiterentwickeln. ■ ALUMINIUM · 11/2008
