Beim Ausfahren der verdichteten Halbzeuge läuft das Wasser zügig ab, so dass keine Auftrocknungsrückstände verbleiben. Speziell auf elektrolytisch und organisch gefärbten Teilen ist damit ein hervorragendes Finish gegeben, ohne dass sich ein Sealingbelag bildet. Durch den Einsatz des Additivs wird zudem die Wirtschaftlichkeit des Produktionsprozesses verbessert. Dies zeigt sich in längeren Badstandzeiten und einer optimalen Dosierung. Mit einem einfachen Küvettentest lässt sich die Produktkonzentration unkompliziert photometrisch bestimmen. So kann Kosten sparend die exakte Zugabemenge ermitteln werden. Dank seiner erhöhten Unempfindlichkeit wird die Lebensdauer des Verdichtungsbades gegenüber eingetragenen Salzen deutlich erhöht. Aufgrund des geringeren Startleitwerts kann das Bad eine größere Salzfracht aufnehmen, als dies beim Einsatz von klassischen Sealingadditiven der Fall ist. Dabei gilt vereinfacht: je geringer der Leitwert, desto geringer die Gefahr der Ausbildung von Aufsalzungen auf der Metalloberfläche nach dem Trocknen. Mit Almeco Seal Duo Pro wird der Leitwert fast nur noch über Fremdeintrag – zum Beispiel durch Schwefelsäure aus dem Eloxalbad, die nicht vollständig aus den Oxidporen gespült wurde – erhöht, was zu einer beträchtlichen Verlängerung der Badstandzeit führt. Zusätzlich lässt sich die Lebensdauer des Verdichtungsbades sowie die Qualität der Verdichtung durch eine laufende Badfiltration deutlich steigern. Staubfreie und brillante Oberflächen nach der Verdichtung mit Almeco Seal Duo Pro Bereits Ende 2005 wurde das Henkel- Produkt umfangreichen Praxistests unterzogen. Über drei Monate befand sich ein Prototyp zunächst in der Produktionsstätte der Firma Elomatrix in Troisdorf erfolgreich im Einsatz. Seit Mitte 2007 wird die endgültige Version deutschlandweit erfolgreich verdichtet, so zum Beispiel bei der Firma Alutecta aus Kirchberg. Das Unternehmen bietet als besondere Oberflächenveredelung das Sandalor-Verfahren – eine Kombination aus organischem und elektrolytischem Färben – an. „Das neue Verdichtungsadditiv von Henkel liefert nicht nur sehr saubere Oberflächen, wir konnten auch hinsichtlich der Fingerprint-Problematik eine deutliche Verbesserung feststellen“, sagt Michael Oswald, Geschäftsführer von Alutecta. Nach ausführlichen Abtestungen im Labor wird das Produkt seit Anfang 2008 in der laufenden Produktion eingesetzt. Seit Kurzem ist es auch für den internationalen Einsatz freigegeben und erfüllt alle Anforderungen der Qualanod – dem Qualitätszeichen für die Beschichtung von Metallfassaden. 38 ALUMINIUM · 11/2008

The surface area amounted to some 400 square metres of Vgroove sheet and 800 square metres of sun stores. The façades have been in use now for ten years, facing sun, wind and rain in this industrial environment, and also encountering mechanical damage around the loading area. Die so behandelten Metallbandoberflächen sind für die unmittelbar anschließende Beschichtung mit einer Vielzahl von Lacken fertig vorbereitet. Als 1998 die Sanierung zweier Laborgebäude von Henkel durchgeführt wurde, entstand ein weiteres Projekt, nämlich ein Referenzgebäude für die neue chromfreie Bandvorbehandlung zu schaffen. Zusammen mit der damaligen VAW (heute Hydro Aluminium Deutschland GmbH) in G r e v e n b r o i c h wurde AluminiumFassadenband und Vormaterial für Sonnenschutzlamellen mit Alodine NR 1453 behandelt und mit einem einschichtigen HochleistungsPolyesterlack lackiert. Aus dem Blechmaterial entstanden Trapezbleche und S o n n e n s c h u t z blenden, mit denen die Treppenhäuser und Fensterreihen der Südfront an den beiden Gebäuden verkleidet wurden. Die gesamte Oberfläche betrug etwa 400 qm Trapezblech und 800 qm Sonnenschutzrollläden. Die Fassaden sind seit nunmehr zehn Jahren Sonne, Wind und Wetter in einer industriellen Umgebung, im Bereich der Ladezonen auch mechanischen Beschädigungen ausgesetzt. Die SilbermetallicLackierung jedoch weist auch an kritischen Stellen wie Stanzlöchern, Niet und Schraubverbindungen oder Tropfkanten keinerlei Korrosionsschäden auf.
