FUNDAMENTALS
Investing in SEB shares is about committing to a high-performance company supported
by a rich history and strong values that is firmly oriented towards the future.
Against the troubled backdrop of 2012, interest in the Group and the SEB
share has nevertheless been maintained. By increasing the number
of contacts made and meetings with interested parties, we have been able
to nurture a rich dialogue based on transparency and openness. This is
a constructive approach aimed at maintaining a long-term relationship with
our shareholders based on trust and honesty.
Regular information for individual
shareholders
At the end of 2012, SEB SA had more than 6,200 holders of
registered shares and 27,000 holders of bearer shares. Holding regular
meetings with these shareholders to present Group strategy and
performance and the main issues we face is a key mission of the
Financial Communications Department. In 2012, we held 3 information
meetings in Toulouse, Lille and Bordeaux. The Annual General Meeting is also
an important opportunity to encourage dialogue between the Group's
Management and its shareholders.
The Shareholders Department remains a key point of contact for fulfilling
any requests for information concerning SEB shares, whilst the Securities
Department manages registered shares.
The Group also makes available a number of publications to keep interested
parties up to date with Group news and performance. The website
www.groupeseb.com is THE portal of reference for keeping informed with
what's happening and for accessing a wealth of on-line content thanks to
the ongoing development of dedicated digital software.
A proactive approach for financial analysts and
institutional investors

Professionals in the finance industry – in particular financial
analysts and portfolio managers – require specialist and targeted information
in order to be able to provide opinions and recommendations on the SEB share
in the case of the former and to make a well-supported investment decision
in the case of the latter. Groupe SEB therefore endeavours to provide them
with all the necessary elements for their analysis, in particular through plenary
information meetings upon publication of results, conference calls (broadcast
on the Group's corporate and financial website), road shows and ad hoc meetings.
In 2012, a dialogue based on precision and transparency was maintained
with more than 420 people from the financial community, which reflects
the high level of interest from analysts and investors in the SEB share. In order
to respond to this growing demand, the Group also organised its very first
Investor Days in Lyon in June 2012, which enabled participants to gain a
deeper understanding of how Groupe SEB works from an "inside" point of
view and to enrich their understanding of the Group's strategy.
