The Group manufactures internally 70% of the products it
sells. This industrial base, which received a further boost in 2010
and 2011 through acquisitions in Colombia, Vietnam and India
and from increased capacity in China, is a versatile and highperformance
system serving our markets. Our European factories
have become genuine specialist centres of expertise, which are
in a position to supply our products all over the world. Our international
factories produce multiple products and are competitive
and close to local markets in emerging economies, which are
generally expanding rapidly. Finally, the Group also procures
components and basic products from sub-contractors and these
supplies are managed in a selective and controlled way.

FUNDAMENTALS
In this highly competitive industry of ours, the pertinence of our
industrial strategy is a key element of our competitiveness.
We are therefore working on permanently improving the performance
of our factories, in terms of productivity, quality and safety.
We are developing a group-wide approach, by striving to harmonise
and simplify our processes and our indicators and by encouraging
dialogue and the exchange of good practices between our
various sites. Our continuous improvement policy also applies to
the entire value chain concerning production, whether it is a matter
of optimising our purchases of raw materials and components,
rationalising our organisation of logistics or harmonising our IT
systems. In 2012, our teams' commitment and their active involvement
in the various initiatives across our sites led to real progress
in all of these areas, which is vital if we are to continue
improving our competitiveness. We also apply this same meticulous
approach to our main suppliers, in order to ensure the control
of all of our products.
