The seminar is required <strong>of</strong> all majors, and concludes with submission <strong>of</strong><br />

the completed thesis.<br />

Economics<br />

Requirements for the major: A minimum <strong>of</strong> 11 courses, distributed as<br />

follows:<br />

Two Topics in Economics courses, each with a different number,<br />

selected from <strong>of</strong>ferings designated Econ 250-259<br />

One course in Mathematics, selected from Math 108 or Math 121 or<br />

any Math course at the 200 level<br />

Three core courses in economic theory:<br />

301 Microeconomic Theory<br />

302 Macroeconomic Theory<br />

303 Econometrics<br />

Senior Seminar and Thesis:<br />

490 Senior Seminar and Thesis<br />

Four additional courses from among Economics 300 level <strong>of</strong>ferings,<br />

FINA 360 Investment Analysis and FINA 381 Financial Institutions. One<br />

3-credit internship in Economics may count toward this requirement.<br />

Requirements for the minor: Seven courses, distributed as follows:<br />
