The seminar is required of all majors, and concludes with submission of
the completed thesis.
Economics
Requirements for the major: A minimum of 11 courses, distributed as
follows:
Two Topics in Economics courses, each with a different number,
selected from offerings designated Econ 250-259
One course in Mathematics, selected from Math 108 or Math 121 or
any Math course at the 200 level
Three core courses in economic theory:
301 Microeconomic Theory
302 Macroeconomic Theory
303 Econometrics
Senior Seminar and Thesis:
490 Senior Seminar and Thesis
Four additional courses from among Economics 300 level offerings,
FINA 360 Investment Analysis and FINA 381 Financial Institutions. One
3-credit internship in Economics may count toward this requirement.
Requirements for the minor: Seven courses, distributed as follows:

One course in Mathematics: selected from Math 108 or Math 121 or
