Chapter 2: Installation Installing the XFP Transceivers To install an XFP transceiver in the AT-SBx31XZ4 Line Card, perform the following procedure: 1. Remove the transceiver from its shipping container. 3. Position the transceiver with the label facing down. 4. Verify that the handle on the XFP transceiver is in the upright position, as shown in Figure 60, to prevent inadvertently removing the transceiver. 82
