CHP has dispatchers, media officers, and Public
Infomration Officers in the RTMC. The CHP
personnel have effective ability to perform control of
Caltrans devices by sitting at a Caltans console.
CHP and Caltrans have two different computer
systems in the same building. At present they do
not communicate, but they may in the future, which
is what the connections on this diagram represent.
