The actuality of the topic:
The verb takes the important place in the system of medical terms.
It is impossible to translate elementary sentences, to write and translate prescription
without mastering the personal endings of active and passive voices, the principles
of forming the imperative and subjunctive moods of verbs, the peculiarities of
translation etc.
2. The specific aims:
1. To know the basic categories of the verb.
2. To know the basic ending of the active and passive voices.
3. To know the peculiarities of the forming of Praesens indicativi activi et
passivi.
4. To know the rules of the forming of the 2 nd person singular and plural of the
imperative mood.
5. To know the rules of the forming of the subjunctive mood.
6. To know how to find the stem and to determine the conjugation of verbs.
7. To know how to form Singular and Plural imperative of verbs.
8. To know how to form Praesens inducativi activi et passivi of verbs.
9. To know how to translate the verb forms from Latin into English.
10. To know how to use the verbs in the prescription forms.
