1. When a medicine is needed urgently, a doctor writes at the top of the
prescription the words “Cito!” (quickly) or “Statim!” (immediately).
2. If a doctor prescribes some medicine for himself, he writes in the
prescription after the word “Signa” (or “Signetur”): “pro me” (for me) or
“pro auctore” (for the author).
